Anonymous: any tips on making a large chest look somewhat smaller/flatter without using binders? I've tried them and they are just too uncomfortable for me. I'm a 40D bra.
I am in the same boat you are size and everything.I do own a binder, the underworks 997 and it works great but between its tendencey to roll up and pinch me and the fact that getting it off is often a 2 person job I don’t wear it very often. What I do instead is by compression sports bras.I bought a purple one at target for around 9 bucks and it works really well I go from a 40 D to round maybe a C cup.But I also have a pouchy belly so it all blends into one wall-o-gigglewiggle fat at a certain point(this is fine by me.) Also a sports bra that is very comfy and then another on top of it can really help and while not as comfy as no sports bra or one it is still MILES more comfy then a binder. Also button down loose fitting shirts seem to make mine look smaller esp if worn open over a looser fitting t shirt. You can try cutting the crotch out of those cheaper walmart store brand spanx/girdle things as well, they tend to be silky soft and can do the trick fairly well actually but be warned they can get a bit stuffy so make sure you get one that says “breathable” or else you might get to hot.I’d buy either at your normal buttom hlf size(thats wht I did with mine after I re-found them in a drawer) or maybe go a size up to avoid any awkward head is stuck in the crotch I just caught out and now I look like a silent hill monster moments(learn from my mistakes). You can also try buying tank tops that are a bit to small and then putting a sports bra over that for some extra help.I haven’t had a chance to try the tri top non full length binder so I can’t talk about if that is more comfy or any leslove boat products.
